Yep,I've got an invite! Gweb is correct,I walked a few beats with the dogs today and its in fine fettle....gonna be a shade nippy though I fear 😱

Cold water!

Fished for 2 and a half hours today, water temp 1.2 degs, air 2 degs, but water in good nick, a bit high but not too bad. Clear but peat stained. Had a brief pull - probably not a springer he said intelligently (!) - this a little way below Corbridge.

Must be the rise in water temperature that's brought them on... 2.2degs above the temperature barrier. Brrrr! But great that the catching has started!
