I then lost one then got one before the rain started. After a thorough soaking we retired to the East Haugh Hotel for a large Dram

Birkin, you are correct, a lovely pool. That first run down the pool was a surprise with my wife hooking 4, but landing none and then me dropping one and getting one. Around 11am the heavens opened and the rain was biblical and as a result no more fish. Although we had good sport early on we never saw a single fish, just goes to show even when you don’t see them there can still be taking fish in the pool

The Tummel at the Dam beat in April and May 2022 will be Fly only ,just come up on the PAC site tonight.
I don’t mind the fly only
Remember PAC introduced fly only years ago think it only lasted the one season
I’d Imagine lots of visitors will be put off booking now it’s fly only during peak time
Spinning was very successful method on the dam beat
