I'm drawn to this fly quite a bit. Its a lovely looking robust and proportioned tying Rainclouds.

When and how do you fish a fly with blue in like this?

Thanks Geordieboy. I haven't fished this pattern much but I found a blue charm (4 or 6 single) worked well for me in the past around this time of year. The Nayat is as you say very robust and holds its shape well. In terms of movement its in between fox and bucktail. I would probably pick this fly with slightly coloured water on bright day.
