Hi All, planning a trip over to fish the Foyle system next June/July for a week, I want to try and cover a couple of different beats or rivers, glenmore is on my radar to fish if available, can you recommend a couple of other places that would be worth looking into. Cheers James

That time of year on a falling spate Glenmore is the place to be. The beats are worth a throw but never overlook the open water ticket. Really is worth it and once the spate falls off, she will still fish in low water but you have the river mourne close by and she will be coming into order then if not already in it.

If still planning your trip it really depends on when. The Finn, roe and faughan are all spate, Mourne is less Spate dependent. Go on YouTube and look at Lough's agency promotional videos. All rivers are available from £20-£40 (50 euro) a day. The Finn at this point is out of bounds due to covid restrictions. PM if you want specific details
