Very nice though the wings wanted to be broken strips veiling the underwing (with the parrot and yellow swan in strands) - tying on the underwing and main wings makes life a lot easier on veiled flies as the main wing is less inclined to 'cap' the underwing. Dx

Cheers Dave i tried copying Kelsons version , wasnt sure if it was married wing or in strands tbh ,,,any flies ive tried in strands the whole lot goes every which way but the way i want , keep plugging away , thanks fir input 👌

As I say tie them on with the underwing - wants to be mainly thin strips... It's not an easy pattern to do well, this is nice but more in the realms of the Pryce Tannatt version style-wise.
