With the season running out I have reached a quiet spell at work and would like a day on something more local than I am used to fishing (way up North).
Can anyone tell me anything about Kinnaird lower and Powmouth and House of Dun water?
I have had to leave this until the last minute so I missed the last rod on Burn Estate, damn, and this is what's left. So is it worth a punt?
To be honest I might just do it for the day out on the water. :)

Of the three would go for Lower Kinnaird. It's a much bigger stretch of water and better fishing than Powmouth. Any fish cruising into Powmouth off the tide will continue into Lower Kinnaird. House of Dun hasn't been fishing well the past few years (dunno about this year haven't heard yet!)

Have had many a good fish off Lower Kinnaird over the years and every chance of picking up a fresh one right up until the last day of the season.

Two rods booked for the last day of the season on Lower Kinnaird.
With rain forecast for the start of the week this might work out!

Tight lines, if we get some rain I'll be fishing a wee bit above you that day!:D

I would agree.
Lower Kinnaird would be the better option.
Just pray you dont get a wind or a hard frost as the river down there can get very leafy !

Good luck.
