What a lovely rod this is:).
Purchased recently from a forum member.:)
This rod is rated at 350grains so bought a snowbee switch line which was rated #6/7 and come in at 360grains.
Nice line and went pretty well, good presentation.
Tried a ssvt next #8 and comes in at 450grains, this line went let's say very well, no it was amazing 25/30yds from a switch rod of 10'9 for me anyway is incredible.
Just goes to show how much leeway you can have with the weight of lines.

Catching a decent salmon on this might be another story mind you.
Perfect rod for sea trout, grilse and low water I would say.

I would say this rod is a true through action (slow)rod with fast recovery and would not suit peeps who like fast action (tippy) rods with fast recovery.

Hope that makes sense.

Glad you like it, really pleased with mine will have to try my versi tip on it. Surprised that it could cast the 8 weight as the trout and salmon review thought that the 7 weight seemed slightly heavy on it.
