Belters, just seen them on the salmon fly page before.
Have you tried fishing them on a top dropper in summer ? Tactic seems to work well for a few anglers on the tyne. Whichever flee takes your fancy on the bottom and a tiny stoats etc on the dropper and they seem to see the bottom flee then have a go at the dropper.

Great flies.

I think people under estimate the B270's maybe there not vogue.

Size 8,10,12, great double hooks.

I use 12's and 14's for the sea trout. Great hooks and not too pricey. Great for Silver Stoats and Haugurs. If I get to Ballynahinch Castle this year I will have plenty for the Finnock and Sea Trout.

Wonder how many fish the silver stoats has taken over the years. Simple but deadly.

Beauties! What have you used for the tails? Doesn't look like classic GP crest, but none the worse for it.

As the advert used to say, “never leave home without them” !
Particularly nicely tied flies and would be great for the Sea Trout for sure.
