My favourite head for the last 10 years.
Not as wild as 2010 anymore, a little bit more mainstream.

Thanks TC

I have really enjoyed the Rage heads since I started using them. I also really like the Scandi long, it’s less versatile but gives a lovely presentation and is a great option for my 12’4” rod. Your diagrams show exactly why 2 lines of the same weight don’t load the rod in the same way.

Have you done any research on the new LTS SCS Short heads...?
They are quit agressive in taper and are very easy to cast for most people...

I found that line a revelation. It actually has quite a fine tip and combined with a 10’ poly and 12-15’ leader was a brilliant summer floating head set up for shy fish. I used a #9 on my 13’ Cross S1 #8 and it flies.

Would be really interested to see the Gaelforce 'Equalizer' EMT Multi Tip 617Gr to compare with the Rage heads

Send it to me (I´ll send them back, promised! :) ) or send me the data, it´s not very difficult (if you have a digital scale + digital measuring slide )
