It depends what you mean by worming and spate river. In my upstream worming days on a river with fairly open banks, I used 12’ rods because the length allows you to stay in touch with the worm. The 12’ Royalty did that job for at least a couple of people I knew. On the other hand, if you’re fishing in coloured water on a tree-girt rocky river with a bunch of worms, the length can be a pain in the proverbial.

Perfect if you're ever back up the Leven for worming
Yeah will defo be back down was gna get a big ticket this year but bought new house and started my own business so decided I'm waiting to next year to settled in ect see you about some time

not missed much this year, really slow start with the cold water then right into summer low levels and its been there since, no much sea trout about either, fingers crossed it picks up with the rain next week
