Reel for oracle switch 7/8.

Hi guys, wich reel would you recommend for the oracle switch 7/8. Not sure what size to get. Planning using a rio versi tip with it.

I would recommend the basic click check Orvis Battenkill size V strong robust reel good capacity and fantastic sound when fish runs. I use one on my 7/8 jet switch.

I have the 8/9 rod and i use the oracle reel and it is brilliant. If you want real class and quality go for a loop G4 or the q reel

To keep costs low and still have a tidy looking reel there’s the Airflo Delta that do a 9/10 for fifty bats.

Another great option. Grey's GTS 700 as well. If I was you keep costs low and if you really get into it then you can start to splash out

if you want proper low mine's paired with a Youngs 1535. You can pick em up for about £30 on ebay, maybe £50-60 if it has a spare spool. Takes a perfect amount of line for it, and I feel it balances well

All comes down to what you want to pay really.
No one really makes a bad reel these days. On the budget end of things a used leeda magnum will be cheap and outlast you.
I use a guideline favo reel on my switch rod which fits into the mid range of reels and its not bad.
Then you can pay as much as you like for whatever takes your fancy.
If you want something that makes a nice noise then some of the classic designed hardys are hard to beat but collectors bump the prices up.
