Dr. P for me again this month.
But mostly because he has incorporated my favourite colours into the scandi style of fly, yellow and blue.
Otherwise, the quality is superb and I would be hard pressed to make a call.
Young Logan is some tyer for his age. Quite outstanding.
Well that was quite a polarising vote this month with nearly 30% of entries getting no votes at all - a splendid selection there from a great bunch of guys of which I was one!
In some respects that was surprising because if you were anything like me you spent an awful lot of time scrolling up and down while trying to pick out just one fly for your vote. All of the entries I would be very pleased to have in my box and if I ever get to Sweden, I'll most definitely be copying a few - probably badly! But to the points which this month saw three entrants stand out on their own with just an extra point pulling them ahead of the person below, which in fact was true all the way down to 8th= placing at one vote each. At the top of that tree though we have:
1st place and 10 points, LouisCha
2nd place and 8 points, DrPatrickT.
3rd place and 7 points, Andrzej
Congratulations gentlemen for taking a material intensive and difficult fly to balance and tying the versions that grabbed the most attention.
