Our October Tweed week and accommodation is booked already, kipper bashing seems to be your recurring theme........

I have nothing against kipper bashing, done my fare share of it and still do, just no longer make plans for the autumn and book on short notice during September/october.
what I am against is November nursery fishing

Got my June trip booked on the Dee a week on the Alness in September, invited to fish for 3 days on the Derwent and a week's sailing across to the channel Islands. Hoping to get out more on the boat but bad weather keeps us on the marina.

Easy: Staying alive, fit, and healthy so I can attend the various fishing breaks lined up.

Take out membership on a couple of local rivers, travel less distance for fishing and don't go catching any virus's.

I'm optimistic on my trip to BC in August, which was passed on from this summer.
More optimistic than I was a week ago at least, I might even start tying some intruders.

If this virus **** allows it; it will be as usual:
May and June on the Spey and September on the Dee.
The advantage for the next season is that everything is already paid for; only the drinks costs
