What can they do from home?
So more closures in the coming years as fewer fish will be recorded.
Another nail in the 'salmon coffin' cultivated by those who are the protectorate of the same!

I think all civil servants should be forced to work in hospitals and help the real people on the front line,, some insult to people such as carers, nurses, doctors and paramedics, working from home this is pure rubbish while the rest of the country are struggling and getting covid payment of 350 euro a week also to stay at home......

Even when working and catching lads, when they make it to court they get off light handed.

Systems a joke

From what i know Inland Fisheries Ireland office staff are at home , and the protection staff are patrolling as normal in seperate Jeeps.
Don't know what they are patrolling it for, maybe it's different on the Moy but Salmon Fishing is almost finished on the majority of rivers in Ireland.
The drift netters wouldn even bother setting out their nets , nothing to catch.
