SWAP CLOSED Gary has finished up February's swap so we're rolling out the next one.

Hopefully the folk that contributed to Feb will all be back in, so looking for 11 swappers plus me. Tie TWO patterns, six of each. You'll have a set of 12 back at ya.

1) Piker20.
2) Gary
3) Heero
4) GaryD
5) Jockiescott. - Bothams fancy
6). Death_shrimp
Please ensure flies have a tag of paper attached to them with your user name so I know who tied what and flies are sent in a crush proof container to save the posties fingers.

Ok folks. I would still like this to be done for 1st April. So do we go with the six of us and tie two patterns each, still submitting 12?? Or do we want to submit just the 6???

I'll finally close this swap up tomorrow at 5pm so opinions please.

First set done (sans varnish -- will do all at once later).

Pompiers, a very popular and effective early season Gaspe fly. Created by a fireman from Montreal, hence the name (French for fireman).

Like them a lot Heero!
Re my own effort, realised it wasn't really a hairwing which was the remit so have altered pattern to include one, tied up the 6 and will post pic asap
Still to decide on 2nd pattern, thinking either a stoat variant with peacock or an arndilly fancy, any preferences?

Never heard of the arndilly so would like that but stoat always a winner.

Arndilly Fancy

Here's my 2nd fly, an Arndilly Fancy. Found tying on forum provided by Altmor, but took away JC and added krystalflash in wing for added attraction :)
