Baw deep somewhere ;-D
Hooked over 40 fish in the last few weeks landing 23. The KK done the damage at the start with 1 or 2 other flies adding to the tally. Been tying some on trebles this evening for the next foray next week...

well done indeed, SA. Great sport.(y) I had half a dozen fish last week, if I had a KK things would maybe been different.:D
Not a pattern I have used, so, is your pattern just as Davie McPhail's video?
Going to Knockando in 3 weeks for a few days, I'll give them a wee throw there.

Well done indeed - superb.

That fly is going on my shopping list that's for sure!

Fantastic!
I only use this pattern (or any flamethrower for that matter) on double hooks these days. I find they hook and hold better than trebles.....be interested to hear your thoughts....

I got 6 kks from Jock a few years ago and had a good season until the tree gods claimed them.
Last year i liberated a few kk type flees from Dr Ps immense armoury and did well in these too.

One of my favourite flees.

Excellent photos. Never tried the fly but they are so well tied and look excellent. I will be tying some up for my September trip. blue is not a colour I use much, is it good in peaty waters as well as clear?

40 fish good Lord, I’d like to know where you live!!! Ha ha
I haven’t had a pull This season.
In fact you have had more salmon than I’ve had trout this season .!!
