Never seem to get this pattern right with bucktail so tried fox for a change and turned out better will try a wee bit black over wing in the next couple and they should be just right

You could actually add a touch more black, but that said your fly is ace.

The KK always had black in the wing.

Love that shade of blue next to the hot orange / red.

I actually prefer it without the black wing as it seems a little out of place. Just a a personal aesthetics thing as its is tied well and will be effective but could balance better perhaps with a turn or two of black hackle under the orange or a badger hackle tied blue at the head.
