Hello from Edinburgh via Devon and Cape Town

Just moved into town, half-unpacked boxes everywhere. Looking forward to the season and hopefully catching my first salmon. I've been lure and fly fishing for a long time, mostly Southern Africa, but also the western US, Ireland and the UK. Might try to find my feet with SH and lure gear before going down the DH rabbit hole...

If you are only fishing for recreation I suggest go straight to the two hand rods and get some tutoring to get you off on the right foot.
