Rare opportunity to purchase a piece of angling history, this Hardy Richard Walker Farnborough 9' 2 piece carbon trout fly rod.

This rod was given by Richard ( Dick) Walker to his late son Tim Walker in the early eighties. We bought this rod and two others from his widow Lynn Walker on the 30th July, 2020 at her home in Biggleswade.

Lynn has provided a handwritten letter of provenance to this effect and a facsimile copy will come this rod.

Photographs of Lynn writing the provenance with rods alongside is shown in one of the images.

The rod is unusual having Fuji eyes re-whipped in burgundy, line rated #7/8, cork handle with lower up screw alloy reel fittings,

The is exactly as Tim left it, we have not cleaned or altered it in any way and comes with correct Hardy rod bag with label

I spent a considerable with Lynn looking through other Walker memorabilia and having meant Pat Walker in the past, it’s a joy to meet more of the family members.
