Plagiarised from FB I like the look of this. The original just had White floss for the body but I added the Mirage over.

Why it is called a Cascade of any description beats me. The only similarity is a black wing :unsure:

Unusual colour for the UK but the Scandis seem to use a lot of white based flies.
I have tied some other whitish flies before.
Low clear water, Dusk, Grilse? I'm not sure when or why I will use it but they will get a swim sometime.

cracker. I tie a tube like this but with a blue butt instead of green. Super fly for clear water. The fish don’t see it coming so much and then suddenly it’s there. At least that’s a theory!

The Ballina grey is an extremely popular white fly for low water on the Moy Gary
