All year long, nothing but small halibut. Yesterday we went out in total fog, the radar was on the whole way. Very slow drift, so I put down a halibut rig and an hour later I pull up this big guy. 45 inches long and the biggest one of the year.
That's a good one these days Dave. I was out just over a week ago. We went all the way out into the Gulf of Alaska but the fish were small. There were four of us and only one fish in the 30 pound range. Already had one good dinner off the trip though
