Does anybody know roughly what age a 2nd hand 15' DTX could be? There's nothing on the Mackenzie website about older models to give me a clue.

Maybe 12 or 13 years old, if it’s the original.

Thanks Paddy, it's this one, is this the original? How many DTX versions were there?

Any thoughts on it or experience with it Glencova and Paddymc?

Great rods. Will cast all line types.

I would definitely recommend, and no problems with excessive breakages or anything like that either.

I've got that exact rod and love it. Happy with spey lines and shooting heads, inc. sinking lines. Very solid rod.

Honestly, don’t hesitate, go for it if it’s at the right money.
Its on fleebay at £160, think that's the starting price but seems like a fair enough price to me. There's one or two others I've got my eye on but that's well below budget so gets a big tick.
