The end of March marked the half way point for me also being offered Erin (my lass Niamh's younger half sister) when she retires.

That'll be the day next January, that yet again I do the long trip down to Simon's in Yorkshire to again collect something very special and bring her home to retirement here in Aberdeen.

I'm still blown away that Simon retired Niamh to me....and what a lovely life that has been with the wee lass. To be offered another of his amazing dogs is just wonderful. His trust in me to give another his amazing dogs a great retirement blows my mind.

The below is the wee las that will be gracing my humble home come the end of the next shooting season. It'll be a great reuniting of my lass Niamh with her old working and kennel mate Erin.

Cannae wait :D

iirc Isla was around 9, Tom. But Niamh was not long turned 6 as will Erin be.
Jeeeeez, Simon's a perfectionist.
I worked my dogs till they were 8 at least and they never missed a beat.
Lucky man, landing with 2 young fully trained lovely dogs dogs like that.
Have you tried the lottery recently?????:D

I won the 'lottery' the day Niamh arrived here, she's a wonderful dog. Next big win will be in January when I pick up Erin.

(That said I should maybe put a cheeky ticket on tomorrow 😂)

Our new pup is 12 weeks now.
Had his second jab so will be out and about more next week.
Quite a biddable pup so training is progressing well and he's had plenty of new experiences.
Not been wildwater swimming like saffys but has made do with paddling in a big storage tray.
Went for a proper ride in the tractor yesterday. Similar pose to looking out of the back door.
