I'm interested in this rod and wondering what it's like.

Particularly, is it beginner/intermediate friendly?

Cheers,

Stu

Hello, I tried to look at the link there but URL cant be found, ok if this is the same rod I have just bought 7/8 weight, it came with a floating switch line but its way too light for that rod (unless previous owner used for massive overhead casting), I do have an intermediate to try but have not had the chance yet but will let you know for sure, I shall shove on an 8/9 floater too as Im sure this will work well, its a very stiff rod for a 7/8. I also use a 10'6" 8 weight snow bee diamond and its a belter....snowbee rods are cracking rods, work very very well with Barrio lines....Barrio switch
just keep in mind they are stiff rods.

tight lines
