First fly I've tied in absolutely ages but a mate asked me to do some for him. Normally a Sea Trout fly this is also very good on fresh fish and grilse.

JC hmmmmm most definitely. A very good pattern without jc but yours looks the mutts nuts with it :cool:

Definitely without. Lovely fly though. Your mate is very lucky.

Just out of interest where do you get your lace wing from, many thanks.

Lovely fly, brilliant dropper fly both for salmon and seatrout, have even seen them dressed with reversed hackles , Loch ordie style to create more surface noise.
