Just wondering what all you fly tyers think of craft fur or faux fur for tying anyone used it?
I watched Mikeal Frodin use craft fur for the tail of one of he's flies .

I've caught salmon on craft fur flies, but it's a plastic and I prefer something that biodegrades is it lost in the river.
The best craft fur for Scandinavian tubes is fair flies fur, it's more tapered and the junk has been removed somewhere on the forum is some craft fur flies Ive tied

Use it a lot in salt water flies and the odd salmon fly, try some and see, I like it, hard wearing stuff👍
Couple of examples below

I was tempted on reading this thread to order said fair fly fur. Well it arrived today as ordered in hot orange, rusty and brown. I'm very pleased with the first attempt. Its very easy to tie with. The hot orange is a little bit washy but the brown is a good deep colour. What prompted me to try it is the fact the fibres are coated to avoid clumping and this is evident in the swim tank.
