crackers , what's the tail material on the top one , tip dyed fox?
as for the silicone I've stopped using it and now only use the propeller swing tubes , 100% positive the hooking rate has improved
Fly Tying Tubes, Brass, Aluminium, Plastic, Eumer Conehead Tube
I use those too Craig but not all the time. More for wee flies/Sunraysetc in the summer.

The tail is yellow fox that I run a red perm marker through at the ends. It does eventually fade a bit but lasts quite well. Tbh, by the time it fades I'm probably stripping the tune or have lost it lol.

Nice fly tying but I'm left a bit disappointed,

All these replies, all the 'Likes' but not a single sheep joke? I fear the group is losing their edge.
