I saw this item on eBay and bought a pair.

OveRxCast Medium Size Copper Overglass Sunglasses - by Cocoons | eBay

They arrived today and nowhere on the item or its packaging can I find any reference to Cocoon having anything to do with them - despite the description saying clearly "by Cocoon"! They were however made in Taiwan.

I carried out an internet search and can find nothing - other than the eBay description from the same vendor.

Has anyone got any info on this claim or is it an untruth.

Many thanks.

I bought a pair of cocoons over glasses, cocoons etched on both legs, on the case and on the lens cleaner cloth. I look a bit like fearless fly with them on but I do quite like them.

cheap at 1/2 the price

I'll clear it up for you castor as no one gave you "mind at rest" info. yet.

Cocoons sell their own branding Cocoons polarised overglasses-
49.99 rrp with a warranty on the frame lifetime against failure under normal use (you can sit on them etc frame will not break)

Cocoons also now sell OverXCast too,
as they bought that brand off the original owners a few years back,
same shape etc but less dosh £24.99 rrp,
cheaper lens material.
1 year warranty on frame as frame not so "bendy"

Cocoons brand has a better quality lens in for the money difference too,
although at 24.99 OverXCast are a great items for the price

so although you do not have "Cocoons" you have a product made and
sold by them,
(Live Eyewear is the owning co. of both brands, based in California)

both brands are in many UK tackle shops

hope that helps:)
cheers
