Anyone tried these minnow type flying c’s out?
Seen them on eBay and ordered a few to try just thought I’d stick them up incase anyone else was interested in them or had previous experience of them

Yea, tried them quite a bit. Brownies seem to hammer them but not had much luck with the salmon using them.

Black and yellow spintec latex body flying c with fluro yellow bead and silver blade one of my fav colours and had a good few fish this year on it ?

Are you fishing them upstream or downstream?
I’ve been casting upstream with a fast retrieve, slightly upstream then a decent retrieve to work the lure through the pool trying different speeds for different depths, hopefully get out again this Saturday and keep hoping my time will come soon

Try a lighter flying c in faster water. Cast straight across and let it swing like a fly with barely any retreive. Sometimes that can get a take.

If you want the best, low-speed spinning Flying Cs, these are the ones you want. Used to get them in the fishing shop in Westport, but you can order dirct. Deadly!
