I recently posted a new blog entry that recaps the fall fishing season on the Miramichi and Cains Rivers in New Brunswick, Canada. Here is the link. Frankly it was a long way from a great season for us. We are still suffering from an oversized population of striped bass that are eating a lot of our smolts which head to sea just as the bass are massed for spawning. The rivers up on the Gaspe seemed to have a more normal year. Still we had our good moments. Here are samples of a couple of our better fish. IMG_0028.jpgP9180050.JPG

Thanks for the post/link Brad!

Guess what, salmon anglers from both sides of the Atlantic complaining about smolt predation, albeit from different species.:eek:hwell:

All the best for 2020.

A couple of ugly buggers, but fish are OK though!
