Bumping this one up as it's a great little rod. I have it and love it. Will pick up sunken heads nicely. Much cheaper than one of those new high tech rods.

Cheers guys, the wee rod just sits and gathers dust, but may rethink this one and keep it ?

Location
Bavaria - too far away from salmon spots
I own this rod for many years now. It’s a dream of a rod in performance and forgiveness. It was one of the sweetest rods out of the LPXe series and not remarkable in breakages compared to other models.
Over lined by most, also because of GL recommendation (and against one of it’s designers, Allan Bloch from Mörrum: 26 Gramm), it fills my needs between 26 and 28 Gramm for me. No wonder: not only for salmon fishing, a perfect seatrout rod because of it’s tip with feel.
Never ever I would give it away.
Good luck!
Cheers
Roland

I have of late been using the SA UST 7/8 3D heads and really liking them. The equivalent Guideline 3Ds also were good. These lines are slightly heavier than what I used to cut my old 2D Power Tapers or DDCs, but because of the improved tapers they work superb for my style.

Many thanks
for your offer onthedangle but I’m not willing to let it go for that.
