    Default Fishing dogs

I thought it might be a good idea to start a thread on fishing dogs and see if members have any shots of their furry best friends fishing with them........
Here are some shots I found on the internet...............

Here's one of Summerville's Reiver Flash at attention watching for the take in the Scourie Hills - Blarloch Mor. He hasn't got a soft mouth so he is not allowed to carry my rods!

Mine appears petrified of running water but she's not aloud in local river. I'm going to try her on a loch I've been invited to fish which hopefully she can't cause havoc at.

Thankfully my little guy isn't too keen on water, i'm pretty certain his previous owner must have introduced him to it by throwing him in which obviously hasn't helped. On the plus side though at least I don't have to spend half the session bawling at him to get out the b***** water

(would have uploaded pics but once again the forum software reckons it knows best and is dead set on displaying the pics on their side )

......should be interesting C! I have had dogs jumping overboard in lochs from boats after salmon etc. Sometimes you have to make the decision rescue the dog or row after the salmon first? Even scooped a spaniel in my landing net and then went on to net a salmon a minute later. Spaniel was swimming after the salmon snapping at it

He wasn’t really fishing. We’d stopped for the day.
