hi beaver , get yourself an airflow rage shooting head and add your own tips , for a 7wt I would go for a 450-480gr head . I use these lines with rio 10ft-15ft tips and they fly out..........

    Default re lines

    Thanks patchh,

I might just do that but i am wary of the rage being too much line for a #7 fast action switch that i am building on a pac bay blank

I would,nt think so as I used one on a 10,6 7wt switch rod I had not so long ago..........

    Default rage 450

    Hi, patchh
The jury is still out on the rage 450 I think that it is a bit too heavy for the #7 + the rear head loop is catching in my rod rings.

I will need to continue testing if the head is the correct weight for me I will cut the loop of the rear of the head and affix a smaller loop

I only wish that i had some lighter lines to try.

    might need some casting lessons
