What is the appropriate behavior for a man or a woman in the midst of this world, where each person is clinging to his piece of debris? What's the proper salutation between people as they pass each other in this flood?

    Ciao Roberto,

    Nice work

    William.

P.S. Saw your great pics from Delphi on another forum. I see you were with the bold Mr. Boland. Just as well you weren't out on Finlough with him. Likes to sink a boat that man

    very nice, 2 questions

whats do you use for the green butt and was that yellow silk you used?

I've only ever tied a cascade without the butt and black silk

Thanks Brendan. Tying that fly was actually an achievement in one sense, that is still being able to tie it at all considering the amount of alcohol they had produced and that I had consumed before hand, combined with the fact that I don't normally drink much. Italian hospitality is among the finest anywhere. I probably looked like my avatar later.

    Hi Krazed_Maggot

The green is a lighter sort of apple green, shiny stuff (wider than glo brite) that Gordon Griffiths used to produce. Glo brite is often used. A darker green can be used also. Sometimes I use chartreuse tying silk to put on the fluo green butt if I use one, or sometimes just light tying thread like white or yellow. I used yellow tying silk for this fly.
