    Default Franc'n'Snaelda

Tied so many of em, I thought I might as well do a SBS, so here we go...

Materials: 6mm bottle tube + tubing
    Conehead, turbodisc or in between
    Orange thread
    Red calftail
4 orange and 4 black boar bristles
    Red and holo gold flashabou
    Pheasant tail
    Red flashy dubbing
    Gold oval tinsel
    Red badger hackle

Prepare the tube. I like to add a buttsection with outer tubing. Superglue the bottle tube, so it doesn't twist.

    Tie calftail around

Tie in the boar bristle feelers; I pair orange 2x2 and put 2 black ones on each side.

Tie in bling and PT as "skirt"

Tie in gold oval and make a dubbing roll

    Dub and rib

Double your badger hackle and tie it in. Always fold hackle tips back and tie em in to make the fly more durable. Wind it on (2-3 turns)

Sorry, but didn't take a picture after winding the hackle on
Tie off the hackle, superglue and put a cone on.

It's from Frodin flies. Not really compatible with the Danvise I'm using, but got used to it. Way too pricey, almost a ripoff, imo, same as HMH...

Great step by step there, i'am going to try dubbing with the next few i tie, have always used wool for the body which is very prone to slipping.

Defo worth a try. If you form a nice body you shouldn't have problems. But doesn't that count for wool as well? Have yet to try that.
