I have the Guideline tube box....comes in a 5 compartment version for medium and 3 compartment version for larger flies.....great box, I am a huge fan... The Frodin wallet seems pretty gimmicky and impractical....probably very expensive too for what it is. However, I am a big fan of the fits...

Lol my local shops don’t stock anything....I order a lot from the UK as well as these came from Canadian tube fly company. Our biggest steelhead came on a skittle tube pattern...good fishing flies!

Skittle tubes are weighed tubes....old school tube fly design from Yuri Shumakov I believe.... This one weight 0.86grams on my scale. Adds a nice sinking property to the fly when fishing faster water and still light enough to cast with touch and go casts. The fly is tied on the red tubing just...

thanks for your insight, sounds like the AFS will be spot on at 520 grains. Thats what heard about this particular model as well, and I feel pretty lucky to have picked it up. Its an interesting build with a custom bottom wood grip and custom thread wraps for the guides.....I should post some...

Awesome...that’s exactly what I was looking for....it seems to be a true 8/9 then...someone told me they used 460ish grain Scandi head on it so I wanted to make sure.....I have an old AFS amd SA Scandi extreme at 520grains that I’m going to try out. Thanks Ard!
