Apparently the beaver pair have been in the old Forth for at least 2 years. The guys giving advice on beaver management have been telling the farmers how to cope with them. I like to see the otters. The pair in the bedshot had 3 kits last year and I have seen 2 young this year. At least the otters will eat the dace as well. The big bull seal came up to the trap last night at high tide but turned back when he saw us. He only eats salmon, no dace for him. Only seen a few fish on the tide and only a couple showing in the pool. Poor year so far for me. We need rain!!!!!!
