    The Rio slickshooter mono line is very hard wearing. Very easy to re-loop as well, by doing a large perfection loop then whipping over/aquasuring for slickness.

    The old trick with Amnesia was to stretch, outdoors, between two points for a few days. The old black stuff turned a nasty colour, but was far far easier to use than straight from the spool.

    I like the Steve Godsell tapered running lines as supplied by Bob Meiser...others shoot a bit further, but the taper certainly improves casting, mending and general fishability.
