    Default Redington Grande

Anyone have experiences about this reel?

Looked about the specs and sounds really interesting (as all in the marketing speech) reel with a”lifetime warranty”, whatever that means. I’m looking about 315-330g reel for next season and with this price 9/10/11 could be really good contender if the experiences from people have been good.

    Anyone?

E: link to the Redington website if someone is also interested:

    Zamora,

I know an experienced ghillie on the Tay who has replaced his Lamson reels with these Redington Grande and considers them to be very good, particularly the drag system. He fishes Norway and also uses them for salt water fishing. Not bad value for money for a high spec reel.

    Hope that helps.

They are a good looking reel in my opinion, the reviews on youtube when they first came out show that the drag would stop pretty much anything that swims.

I’ve pretty much made my mind and I’m going to buy one for next season.

Sometimes you just have to try something new.

    looks really good:

If it’s of interest there’s one of these for sale with a spare spool on the Trout Fishing Forum, I’ve no connection but was looking at it the other day.
