    Default prawn fishing rig

I wondered if someone could post a shot or drawing of the end rig for prawn fishing. Are there 2 rigs, one float fished and one lightly ledgered?

The sink and draw method shown by james on that video was a deadly tactic untill it was banned on alot of the coquet beats. Also dosent deep hook fish.

Dee at purple whiskers supplies some good floats for prawns and terminal tackle to.
    Purplewhiskers Home
I have used the 8 gram Green Genies to good effect especially when fishing from 4ft-10ft deep, set up is about 18" hook length of 15-18 lb then a bb swivel with a silicone buffer bead then the 8g olivette ,float and a small bead then a sliding knot to adjust depth .
If shallower than that it is usually a 2 aaa Chubber float fixed top & bottom with silicone rubbers.

Touch ledgering 24" hook length of 15lb,bb swivel then a running weak link of about 8lb line, weights depending on flow.

Hooks and pins to suit at the time.

11 pounder weighed in net , 2aaa Chubber fished about 3ft deep on a purple prawn.
