The Cables and Pipe. Bonhill Bridge pool in a decent fishing height of water.
Looking at this , it's hard to believe it's smack bang in the middle of a very urban area.

It's the lower of 2 guages in that area.
The other is just above the bridge I was standing on to take the photo.
Para1 makes the guages and maintains them each close season.

Ah, the old Bonhill Bridge Pool. As soon as i saw it it took me back to June when i had a lovely 15 1/2 lb'er from it and if memory serves there were 2 18 lb'ers taken only a week or 2 after. That's a smashin pic B. You'll have to send it to me.

PS. Also reminds me when i just stepped in to give it a run through and after lengthening some line and going into a double spey i heard an almighty "THWACK". Before i realised what had happened the line was round about my neck and the top section of the rod was at right angles to the bottom 2 sections!

I managed to scrounge GP's LPXe. Rather reluctantly i might add.
