    yes fox with schlappen hackle on front its not bad i enjoy tying them razzer is teaching me

    Very nice Gazkul. Don't be sorry about not putting jc on the fly, I'm sure it will still be a killer. I would say I dress more flies without jc these days than flies that have it, but maybe that's just because I'm tight?

    as colin says dont worry to much about the jungle cock ,but if i know you like i think i do youl have that jungle cock cape in the next week or two it does finish it off just nice though.
    any how 1 of the most succesful flies, on most rivers in the last 20 years dont have jungle cock, ie the "allys shrimp"in its various colours and variations,and probably my most succsesful fly.especialy in red on the tyne,
    by the way what happened to the 2nd attempt at this fly,,did it end up in the bin

    Watch out with the crystal flash when using soft materials like t/dog - it can clog the hair together. Better using Angel Hair and saving the crytal flash for bucktail
