    Default End of Season P.O.T.M.

    Seasons Greetings Forum Members,

Its that time again. Given the time of year it is with the Salmon season drawing to a close and Christmas edging ever nearer i decided that having one large Competition to cover November and December would be a good idea.

So the Rules are as follows.

    RULES

    One picture Per Forum member

Must contain wildlife/river/fishing theme (christmas too)

Anything taken during November/December 2008 can be entered (Be honest)

I'll close the Competition entries on January 3rd 2009

winner will be decided by way of a poll open to Forum Members

This will run for 1 week only and will open 3rd January 2009

    Prize

If anyone would like to donate an item for this competition your more than welcome.

i am looking for anyone and everyone to donate a prize to help make this a massive haul for the winner. Spare Hooks, flies you tied and never use, Spool of braid you have lying around spare anything at all. Just make it known on the thread or PM me if you want it kept quiet.

Hopefully it will be a great late Christmas Pressie and an early stock up on Tackle and bits & Bobs for the new season ahead.

I have already had one donation to Kick start the list and i'll be adding something too so the prize list so far is

    Prizes

6 spring flies (tied by a forum member) He can make himself known if he so wishes

    12 Flies assorted sizes

    12 Shrimp Flies

Day ticket for the Faughan I'll even guide on the day if you want.
or equivalent amount (30) tackle voucher for your local shop if you so wish.

make this a massive haul for the winner.

Paul can I suggest that rather than a massive haul for the winner, could we have a 1st to 3rd set of prizes. Just a suggestion don't shoot me

    FP,
If you are interested, I’ll donate a dozen shrimp type flies.

I was thinking the same Kenny but it will all depend on entry numbers, votes and prizes donated.

Obviously if like last month we have 3 really close at the end and a massive haul of goodies i'd think about a 1st 2nd and 3rd.

but if on the other hand we have a small prize pool it would hardly be worth it.

I see you said your entry may be superceded by another pic. Unfortunately its only one pic per forum member and the first one is usually accepted. If you want to change you pic at a further date you can remove your posting until you take/find a better shot then enter.

Other wise im afraid your first entry will be used.
