Thread: Where is this?

    Default Where is this?

Here is a little tester for those of you who think they know their fishing beats.

What do you call this section of sand? The water is fairly high here after all the rain, and there is usually a lot more showing.

    Clues:
It is on one of the Big Four Rivers
There are two words in the name, the first is the name of the beat/ Estate and the second the name given to a length of sand. Both words start with the same letter.

    Good luck.

Hurrah! Highlander has it. It is the these finer details that add quality to a fishing experience. When I first seen it, I was amazed that something so small and insignificant could in any way be part of the local consciousness/ folklore, but there have obviously been many, many sandcastles made here over the years. Ballogie Beach is at the top end of the slips, and well worth a walk. So, if you are staying at Potarch, and you fancy a trip to the beach, you dont have to go all the way in to Aberdeen. How cool is that?

Well done Salmon addict as well.
