    Default River Tay today.

Some shots I took when fishing Newtyle today. Just to whet the appetite for the meet.

    Looking down towards the Boil.

    Looking up towards cotters.

    The bus!

    A fly look upstream!!

Great day on good water/conditions. Gordon an under keeper caught a lovely 18lb bar of silver, but few fish showing today.

Just great to get out and get some fresh air and soak up the surroundings for you all in readines for the Meet. I also checked out the quality of their whisky and I have to report that it passes with flying colours.

    Default Shame we missed

Yeh one day eh. The river was at a great height as well. just a lack of fish for the time of year.

For me to catch one nowadays, they would have to be - 3 deep, restless, starving and on the verge of sucidal mayhem. Never the less I keep on trying.

Just got a text from Gordon, all 3 of his fish were caught on a black/gold pinkie.
    Well done Gordon.
