Default Life in and around River Dee and Feugh

I have previously posted a couple of pictures from my trip to River Dee in May, including pictures of salmon caught and salmon lost. Anyway, as we probably all agree there is more to fishing than just catching fish and I therefore post a few pictures of life around the River (still including a couple of fish). Enjoy nature at its best!

Two beautiful salmon in River Dee

Two otters playing in Suicide poll at Commonty

My first fish at River Dee - a nice and fierceful brown trout (carefully released)

    Heron at Falls of Feugh

    Beautiful River Feugh

Approx 20 lbs salmon heading up-stream opposite Lower Woodend

Gillie and fisherman working efficiently together for a quick release

A peacock watching what is going on at Woodend House

Mosquitoes at Lower Woodend after heavy rainfall

Ducklings padling away at Lower Woodend during rainfall

Good luck in September. I will probably take a few days in River Mörrum in Sweden when huge sea trout enter the river and you also still have the chance to run into a salmon. Will post some pictures from Mörrum at a later stage.

Looks like a third fish to the right of the large rock as well. Large seatrout or grilse perhaps?

    Luvlee stuff. Em
