Default My most beautiful salmon so far

Just want to share a picture of the most beautiful salmon I have caught so far. Not the biggest .... but look at this well shaped torpedo !
Caught and released at River Hofsá in Iceland on a single handed # 8 rod and a size 10 Laxa Blue. Weight 12 lbs +

This is the pool where it was caught

    The valley where Hofsá runs

Yes, great fish and a fantastic fight! The picture was taken a couple of year ago and I was just reminising through some pictures as I am going back to Hofsá in about three weeks. Mayby I will run into the same salmon - now several lbs heavier )

It would be hard to dream of a better proportioned fish.
