Had to be the Tummel although difficult to guess without someone snake drowning in front of the hut and in the background a swimming angler just downstream of the loose gravel hole he stepped into moments before.

Nearly took a bath there in May.

    Hi Zep,
That should be snake drowning with a muckle dod of concrete as wieght - apparantly it's 16' depth ootside yon hut.

I love fishing that pool from the far bank, but, it can be tricky wading at the head of the pool.

    Default hi

Looking At This Stretch Of Water And Being New To The Salmon Fishing, Would It Be Possible To Draw A Line Down The Area Of River In Which You Feel The Salmon Would Lie In This Particular Pool. My Feelings Are That The Fish Would Tend To Lie In The Slack Water Between The Current In The Close Right Hand Bank And The Far Away Left Bank About Mid-way In This Photograph. Please Could Anyone Elaborate! Thanks Craigy
