    Default Last hurrah

I managed to sneak in a day on the northie on Tuesday to finish my season off.
Surprisingly there had been 1 or 2 silver fish caught on the beat since the Saturday but all I could come up with was a couple of well coloured cocks & a couple of pulls (no pun intended)Last hurrah

On reflection, Iíve had a decent season considering Iíve spent less time than usual on the river banks.
Nothing memorable to write home about but no complaints here.

Well done loon...glad you enjoyed yer final tug of the season

It's not that surprising that there were fresh fish in the system, there were a few getting caught/seen too. One of the fish I saw on the Southie on closing day was a spanker but was running hard.

OK, it's not what it should be, but there's been a few more really fresh fish caught these past few weeks than there has been for a good few years now.

    Well done again
