    New to the fun, but had a great time with this fish safely returned on c&r but I had thought at 10lb 1oz a Salmon, until I had shown the picture to a few folkimg_20190907_183213-jpg who said before I spoke, a sea trout. Wiser folk than me what's your opinions

    Looks like a farmed escapee to me...seen lots of them in my life!

    Your grass needs cutting
    It's all very well using WW2 analogies when referring to Brexit - 'spirit of the blitz' and all that. Imagine the curious atmosphere though if you were sitting in your air raid shelter looking around and realising that half of the people around you had voted to get bombed

    Not a seatrout with that (forked) tail. certainly looks like an escapee.
    Where was it caught?

    100% Escaped farmed salmon. Should have chapped it and slung it straight in the nearest bin. Well done on catching a fish though.

    yup its 100% an escapee from fish farm,
